Project goals

Lubrication systems from SKF Lubrication Solutions are widely used in various industries - from mining, industry, and engineering to agriculture. Lubrication significantly influences the performance of rotary machines. By using the right amount of the right lubricant at the right time intervals, the optimum performance of the equipment can be achieved with maximum service life. Service and maintenance technicians must be able to effectively control lubrication systems via mobile devices and monitor and adjust key operating parameters.

SABO Mobile IT has created SKF LubSet, an application for iOS and Android devices that allows remote management of SKF lubrication systems. The user interface of SKF LubSet is clearly structured and easy to use. Despite the extensive information available, users always have a clear overview of the system status and therefore can use available functions in a targeted manner.

  • As soon as a connection is established, important system parameters such as lubricant level, motor current, pump temperature, and system status are always displayed.
  • Current and historical pump data can be displayed, stored, and transmitted wirelessly.
  • Lubrication intervals, lubricant quantity, monitoring functions, lubrication cycle control, and other advanced system settings can be controlled and configured directly in the application, thus configuring a complete working cycle of SKF pumps.
  • Tools for monitoring pump faults and warnings when set limits are exceeded.
  • When an error is detected, the application displays type and time, supplemented by system settings. An error message is also sent by e-mail for remote analysis.
  • The application supports KFGW pumps in sequential or individual lubrication systems.
  • The application is implemented in Xamarin (Android and iOS versions available).
