Video has become a basic type of on-line content and a video stream in a web browser window has become a mundane and ordinary technology. But what if a very specialized application, for example for medical or industry use, needs a high-quality video with less than 1 second latency?

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development, but which can also be used as a general-purpose programming language. PHP can be added to straight HTML or it can be used with a variety of templating engines and web frameworks. PHP code is usually processed by an interpreter, which is either implemented as a native module on the webserver or as a common gateway interface (CGI).

Have you ever been caught in a situation when you go to some webpage, which has an unfriendly interface and is stuffed with too much information, but you are looking for a little piece of information hidden somewhere in the deepest sub-category? And you read a lot of irrelevant text, just to find the right page and section? Unfortunately, some websites must contain a ton of information, but the way you interact with it can be simplified.

Based on our experience, we have decided to start posting a blog digest about technology changes which have an impact on our projects and customers. We realized that not everyone has time to study all important updates and news coming from different IT producers and can quite easily miss important requirements that could, for example, suspend a customer app from the Google or Apple store, causing many headaches and rushes.

The ability to search and report analytics on an organization’s data is crucial to any digital strategy. While there are several platforms that enable this kind of data processing, such as ingesting, searching, analysing, and visualizing organizational data, the ELK (Elastic) Stack might be the most popular of them all and your organization should be using it.

The world is in a rapid process of change and is becoming more and more complex. This is driven by new technologies (artificial intelligence, language assistants, block chain, and so on) and companies like Google or Apple, which have left old, well-established processes, ways of thinking, and structures behind. How can we remain competitive even in these times and deal effectively with the increased complexity? Design Thinking is a systematic approach that focuses on the human being and enables us to master the digital transformation with the mindset of the new world.

Together with CaderaDesign, SABO Mobile IT has developed the Audi dpa for the AUDI AG, the digital planning assistant for the development of assembly lines. Since completion, the Audi dpa has received six awards, including the Red Dot award, the IF Design Award, the German Design Award, and the Automation App Award. Recently, the Audi dpa has been awarded twice at the German Innovation Award in the category „B2B - Information Technologies“ and in the special category „Design Thinking“.

One of the many interesting projects we currently work on in SABO Mobile IT is an iOS app based on ARKit for our long-time client Audi in cooperation with NavVis. We gather information about real objects‘ future/planned locations and render it in augmented reality as precisely positioned as ARKit allows us. We've encountered multiple technical challenges on the way, most of which were more or less related to the positioning. The considerable inaccuracy of ARKit has been the biggest issue, and this has required many hours of research and experiments in order carryout the project.

I believe almost everyone has heard of the new killer feature called federated modules. In my opinion, with this feature we can either use already written open source modules and merge them into an app or it can be useful for a big project where different teams can create independent modules. Most importantly, all examples are presented in one ecosystem only (React library).
